  I found this campsite to preach lots of rules but not actually follow up on any of them. If they could charge for fresh air I think they would. Everything had a price on it - I wouldn't mind putting money in the showers if you actually got the time that you paid for. Even putting pieces of wood under the hand dryers - as if you would try to dry your hair under a hand dryer - get real. The swimming pool was packed and very noisy - a simple remedy would to open the the pool instead of keeping it into the poly tunnel - Absolutely not - we were told - the heat of the pool would escape! - It was mid August when we were there. Don't advertise an outdoor pool if you are not going to use it. Never going there again. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Only gave it 1 star as otherwise it wouldn't save.

  The pitches were very well kept, nice grass. The people were also friendly, the part that let it down was the showers. It's 20p a shower, but they are coin operated units that are over 50yrs old. They only worked about 70% of the time. I ended up having to take 3 coins for each shower so I wouldn't get caught out. (After being caught out 3 times. Considering the price of the site, and the fact they charge for showers, it was a real downer on our 2 week trip.

  First week of the summer holidays was spent with family and friends at Fron and what a fabulous campsite it is. We are pretty new to camping but it's such a great friendly site and we know we'll definitely be going back. The pitches were very spacious and very well kept. Our electric wasn't quite long enough, so Mark kindly lent us an extension for the week. The facilities are great. The kids loved the park and it was nice to know they were safe to play and close by. The swimming pool, wow, what a great addition. Was a bit chilly at times but once in there it was fab. We spent a fair few hours in the pool. The showers/toilets/washing up facilities were all really great and super clean, maybe a little dated if anything but that doesn't really matter as long as it's clean, then that's the main thing. There is a small shop on site which has all the basics and is great to get you started with a few bits. My girls loved popping over to the shop for a bottle of milk in the morning. Mark, Dith and George just wanted to say a huge thankyou for such a warm welcome to Fron, such a lovely site and the gardens are beautiful. See you next summer love the Tunnicliffe family xx
